Waterloo Siskins Hire Billy Young as Assistant Coach

The Waterloo Siskins are pleased to announce the hiring of Kitchener native Billy Young. Billy joins returning head coach Mike McIlveen and assistant coaches Jordan Delaurier and Stefan Lachapelle for the 2020-21 season.

Billy played Minor Hockey for the Kitchener Junior Rangers before moving to Michigan and playing at Cranbrook in the MHSAA. Billy then played Prep School hockey followed by Tier 2 Junior Hockey in the USPHL.

Hockey continued while Billy finished his education. A graduate of Salem State University, Billy played NCAA D-3 hockey while completing his degree.
